Vuelo por la Vida!
Recently a group of 8 PPG pilots made an amazing flight across the panama canal, for a world’s first Ocean to Ocean continuous flight. And to top it off, the team raised $26,000 for the Charity Foundation FANLYC. Congratulations, guys! Excellent work.
For more info on this historic flight, head to the official website at http://www.vueloporlavida.org/ (English and Spanish versions).
A special thanks to Remy Swaab for keeping us informed about the group’s progress, and to the Ozone Pilots in the group who flew their Roadsters from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean!
The participating pilots were as follows:
- Andreas Kolb (Germany)
- Jeff Goin (USA)
- Jeff Hamann (USA)
- Leon Massa (Australia)
- Michael O’Daniel (USA)
- Philip Russman (USA)
- Remy Swaab (Panama)
- Tony Lusby (New Zealand)
It is truly inspiring for us when an international group of pilots come together to complete an amazing adventure in a wild location, and even better when it’s for a good cause. Long live the spirit of adventure flying…!
Cheers from all the Team.
