Ozone Sweep at the Monarca Open 2016
The Monarca Open 2016 was a success with 150 pilots from 23 countries. 3 tasks were completed (2 canceled due to unusually high winds). Director General for the meet, Miguel Gutierrez, tells us the mentoring was great. Ozone was present sponsoring with Alas del Hombre, and provided raffle prizes including 4 Ozone items every day.
Ozone pilots topped the podium in every class. In the Open Class, Pinot Maxime, Adreas Malecki, Yassen Savov, and Josh Cohn took the top 4 spots respectively in that order, all flying Enzo 2s. 8 of the top 10 were flying Enzo 2s. You can download the Open Class results PDF.
In the Sport Class, Roy Morris took first on his Alpina 2. The Sport Class results PDF is here.
In the Woman’s Class, Ewa Korneluk-Guzy took first on her Alpina 2 as well. The Woman’s Class results PDF is here.
And finally, first place in the Mexican Nationals went to Emmanuel Gudarrama (Alas del Hombre) on his Enzo 2.
Congrats to all the pilots and cheers from all the team at Ozone!
