The Snowkite Masters has evolved at Skyline… from a grass roots freeride event to the nations leading Snowkite competition. In its third year the Snowkite Masters continues to attract the world’s most aggressive athletes to the top of the wind swept Wasatch Plateau for a showdown of skills. Race for the title, ride for the session and progress the sport of Snowkiting while pushing your own obsession beyond its limits. 2007 brings a sailing inspired Kiter-Cross to Skyline with categories for both Ski & Snowboard races along with men’s, women’s & youth divisions. Terrain will be the factor that determines the Master of this course.

The Master himself will be on slope once again to host the Snowkite Masters, and this winter Chasta has invited several comrades to join him in a slope-style demonstration, showcasing the Highest levels of the sport. Chasta hopes to pass along the much anticipated ‘Mammoth’ Award for the biggest air. In the tradition of No Judging, the Slope-Style will be determined only by those on slope.

Freeride - because that’s what Snowkiting is all about… leave the competition aside and ride the miles of open terrain that Skyline offers. Spectators and visitors are welcome to join the festivities and try out kiting first hand with introductory to Snowkiting courses offered by Kite Utah Instructors.
