ADRENALINE at La Franqui is the biggest kitesurf school in France and now proposes Snowkite courses at various different sites around Font Romeu in the Pyrenees Orientales. ADRENALINE`s winter base is on the aerodrome Llagonne at the La Quillane ski station, one of the best spots for learning in the area.

Adrenaline is owned and managed by previous World hang-gliding and Paragliding Champion, John Pendry. Johns been based in the area for the past 15 years and was one of the very first kitesurf schools in France. He is backed up by pro-kiters Ben and Tot. Previously Ben and Tot would disappear to warmer climates for the winter to kitesurf but they fully have the snowkite bug and you can`t tear them away from the mountains now.

The area around Font Romeu is great for Snowkiting offering everything from wide open plains ideal for cruising and learning to relatively high mountain slopes for advanced snowkiting and slope training. Good snow conditions for snowkiting are assured throughout the winter period as well as wind with the renowned Tramontane NW wind blowing regularly but less strongly than on the coastal plains nearby
