News just in that the X-Zone crew are gearing up for another year of organised insanity. They’re running the National Powerkite Freestyle Series (or NPFS) over six venues all around mainland UK throughout 2005.

This is the first series of it’s kind worldwide, and they’re expecting competitors to come from as far afield as France, Italy and even the USA. With support from the team here at Ozone - as well as Kiteworld Magazine and other big names such as Ground Industries and Ducti Wallets - this series looks set to put land-based freestyle kiting squarely on the map.

The first round takes place at Black Rock Sands - near Porthmadoch, North Wales - from 23rd-24th April 2005. Entry is £20 and you should register now by sending an email including your full name, age at last birthday, date of birth, primary email address, full postal address and your choice of event (board or buggy), to: npfs1stround@x-zone.co.uk

Also to come from X-Zone Flying in 2005 are the return of the Summer Games and a monster Autumn Games in September.
