Day 1 - Arrival in Oslo

We have arrived in Oslo! There has been some light snow here during the day today and the temperature is around 3°C. We are staying in a hotel full of fellow expedition teams who are heading to Spitsbergen as well, so have been swapping plans and stories and enjoying an atmosphere that is oozing pure adventure and anticipation.

Time for some drinks in Oslo and then tomorrow we are on an early flight to Spitsbergen, and one step closer to the expedition proper beginning. Longyearbyen here we come!
