The 2006 raid was a great success with 30 pilots on the start line from 4 different countries and many Ozone riders attending the event. The weather was great with blue skies but a very light onshore wind.
With the typical “Le Mans” start there were many pilots strugling with the light winds.
From the start Graham took the lead with Jasper on his tail followed by Chris and the rest.
Graham on the 14 and Jasper on the 12 drove neck to neck to the finish changing positions during the 3 hour race.
But in the end it was Graham who won the raid with a nice distance to Jasper and a huge gap between them and the rest.
Again a light wind success for the Yakuza!
