Johann and Remi have been working hard the past year to prepare everything so they could open their Snowkite school at the legendary Col Du Lauteret, France. Snowkite Air is an official Ozone Snowkite Center with all of our latest beauties available to test
The Col du Lauteret has certain areas that are banned by the National Park authority to snowkiters. One of these areas is the Pyramid, one of our favorite areas to ride which used to be open when we 1st started snowkiting at the Col back in 2001. Johann and Remi have been doing a cracking job meeting with the local authorities to turn the Col into the premier snowkiting spot in Europe. It looks like for next season thanks to their efforts the Pyramid should be open for us to ride once again which is great news as it opens up a huge area to free-ride
This will be their 1st season so if you wish to be taught by true professionals be sure to contact Remi and Johann to book a course if your new to the sport or for advice and guiding. They can also offer accommodation and help you plan a trip if you are visiting from outside of France. Johann and Remi are both French Ski Instructors as well as FFVL kite instructors and are both at the highest level within our great sport.
The Col is just above the World famous ski resort, Serre Chevalier that offers a huge ski area and home to Chasta so you know its got sick riding for those no wind days. Turin airport in Italy is also only a 2hr drive away which has budget airlines frying to Turin from all over Europe and the World.

Serre-Chavalier SnowKiteMasters December 13th - 23th 2006
Guillaume Chastagnol triple World Champion and his partners Regis Labaune, Wareck Arnaud and Fred Jagu are organising the 3rd SnowKiteMasters. The SKM is some DJ’s, live concerts events, accommodation, lunch on the mountain and evenings in the valley.
It is always an amazing spectacle shouted by famous photographers and cameramen. This event is an exhibition; each rider is invited to give his or her best, boosted by the ambience of the music festival (world music: Walo Afro, Salsa Contigo and JFK Junior, 1 000 people are expected every night). The Serre Chevalier Snowkite Masters begins the 18th until the 23rd of December at the Col du Lautaret (2058m) which is an excellent opportunity to discover the radical sport of snowkiting.
The Col du Lautaret has near perfect land and wind conditions for snowkiting.
The Serre Chevalier Snowkite Masters is also a show, all kite brands, medias and all the fans join us to try snowkiting and enjoy this event.
