OZONE KITES CONTROL BAR PRODUCT RECALL
Hi Everyone,
Over the past 2 weeks it came to our attention that one of our new Control Bar’s failed in normal use. We immediately began to load-test all bars that we had in stock at our factory in Vietnam and researched into this issue.
We discovered that there is a problem with a batch of bars from our BAR supplier in China (the leading bar factory supplying over 80% of all Brands bars) that we have been working with without problem for over four years.
It is apparent that we received a faulty batch of our new Control Bar that were sold with our 08 Snowkite Models that were launched in September 2007.
Our Design Team have visited the factory this week and the problem is resolved. On top of that our factory now load test every single bar that enters or leaves our factory to ensure this serious issue never surfaces again.
To ensure the safety of our customers or any rider with a Frenzy FX, Manta II or Access XC models with the new bar we are issuing a PRODUCT RECALL.

Any owners of this bar must comply with this product recall for their safety. Our sincere apologies to our customers for this serious inconvenience that is only affecting less than 1% of the total bars sold. When it comes to safety there can be no Compromise.
Ozone will test all bars and replace free of charge those found to be faulty and pay for any shipping costs incurred. Please contact your Country Distributor (Importer) to arrange shipping the bar back to them ASAP

Fill in contact Info form with your contact info and importantly the Serial number of the Kite – see pictures to see where serial number is located. Contact your Country Distributor (Importer) by using this LINK to the Ozone Distributor contact page or contact the shop you bought the Kite from.
Remove the main lines from the bar and ship back with form fully filled in to the Country Distributor. Ozone will test and replace any faulty bars found, then return your bar & reimburse any shipping costs incurred.

Once again our apologies for this fault in the bars, we are addressing this issue with our full attention to ensure the safety of anyone using our kites. Our thanks in advance for your help in getting the word of this out to any Ozone kiters you may know that may have one of the above models.
We would like to state again that this is a limited problem that has only affected a small batch of Snowkite Bars and does not affect any other Ozone Kite.
We have implemented a strict load testing of every single bar we receive from our supplier to ensure this never happens again.
