The 2012 season started with an amazing day on my home mountains, the Dolomites. After a great hike out of the woods we managed to get one of the sickest sessions in my snowkiting experience: the best spot I know covered with 30-50 cm fresh powder, quite gusty wind 15-40 knots and icy temperatures…
We spent 8 hours riding the spot without being able to discover it all.. from 1700 up to 3000+ meters. I felt almost guilty for being up there enjoying all that with my best partner the Frenzy 9m, switching to the Access 6m in the late afternoon with the most difficult passages… sometimes my kite was flying over 600m cliffs downwind, I trust it enough!
