After 1 1/2 hours of flight, 30 minutes of arguing with the cops (they thought my passport was a fake…) and a 2 hour ride from the airport of Bukarest I finally arrived at Sinaia. But I wasn`t prepared to see such a huge spot. It was amazing. I`ve been to so many places snowkiting but this area was really breathtaking. The first day the wind was ok but on the other two days there were gusts on the top of the hill up to 60 knots. Down in the valley it was a bit lighter.

I used my trusty 6m Access XC. This is a dream of a kite! Super stable and pretty controllable while other kites were torn in the air

So after riding an hour fully powered in one direction climbing hills and soaring with the paragliders and speedflyers I was sure to come back again next year and rock with the super hospitable Rumanian kiters.
