Hi everyone,
We just recieved some last minute news from Chasta from this Easter weekend. He is on his way back to California to hopefully pull of a 1st ascent by snowkite of a sick mountain supported by RedBull. More news on that when we get it. After that he heads back to Tahiti for the summer to join Titaua, Kailea and Tamatoa so we are looking forward for some stunning news from there. Chasta’s daughter Kailea is already a ripping surfer aged 7 so she’ll no doubt be ripping on her Instinct Light 3m in no time. The Chasta family just bought a JetSki so for sure he is going to get some sick footage of them riding the waves and will be towing up again on the light wind days(!) It wasn’t suppose to be windy again, but as usual the col give us a good surprise.The wind was once again from Est, so i woke up early, check the pass and rode alone for one hour until Gege came.Then finaly we decided to try to go a bit more right in the valley, and climb to the Pic Blanc.that’s so good to go so much faster than the back country skiers, i love it. So we reach the top really fast, landed my kite on the top, then enjoyed the view for an hour maybe.
We snowboard down some really nice line, can’t wait to see the footage and show you what is possible to do up there or with a kite.Hope you all have a good time like me. If not, stay positive and enjoy life.
