Chasta is still in the USA for another 4 weeks and has been having a ball checking out new spots and riding with the growing numbers of snowkiters lucky enough to live in snowkite paradise.

Ag also sends us his report below on his superb 2 weeks in the USA taking second place men mens ski freestyle at the snowkite Rodeo. Ag also pioneered a new trick that has been named the AG3 - Sequence of it coming soon. Click here for Ag’s cool report in Norwegian accent: www.flyozone.de/USA-trip.htm

Chasta also ripped up the snowkite rodeo and stayed on the flat all weekend to support the event - Chasta took 2nd spot and continues to wow all that see him. Check out www.snowkite.com for his latest video in the forum section

Brian Schenck Ozone’s USA distributor also sends us a report:

Hi Everyone, You have not heard from us in a bit but here is some news from the Ozone USA headquarters. Chasta has been in town for almost a month now and he is still blowing our minds as to what we can do with snowkiting. Heather, Monika and Chasta had what Heather describes as the best day ever snowkiting at Strawberry Reservoir. Although days with consistent wind are few and far between the spot is incredible. The girls followed Chasta as long as they could keep up and then had fun riding the wind lips and hills that the lake had to offer. We all were trying new tricks and grining from ear to ear in the fresh powder. Then we notice in the distance that Chasta is gapping a hillside. There is so much terrain to explore. Chasta lapped the lake and came out of nowhere when the group of kiters where just beginning to wonder where he was.

The locals from SLC went out to snowkite at Skyline and as soon as the van pulled up to park Chasta was ready and riding. A groups of kiters started to follow hoping to keep up but slowly they lost him as he jumped over trees, gapped through the trees and then flew over Highway 31 to the other side. It was the most awesome day for the people who road to Skyline in the Ozone van.

This was just the beginning. The crew road tripped to Montana last weekend for the Montana Snowkite Rodeo. 6 People piled into the van with all their gear exited for the weekend ahead of them. The Boarder cross, Freestyle session and just fun of Georgetown Lake was all in their thoughts. As the crew neared the Montana boarder it was very obvious that the forcasted cold temps were among them. They pulled into Bozeman where local rider Noah Porowitz had an awesome dinner prepared for the arrival. As everyone jumped out it was very obvious that the negative temps were already here. Throughout the weekend temps hit a low of -32 degrees but that did not stop people from having fun, snowkiting and the infamous boarder cross race. Buckles (from Montana Silver Smith) were taken home from the Ozone crew by Heather Schenck, Guillame Chastagnol, Rob Whittall and Ken Lucas. Worn out from Snowkiting and chilled by the cold, attendees were able to warm up every night at the lodge with rocking tunes and plenty of mixed drinks. The flavor of the day was the `Chasta`, a concoction of Red Bull, Vodka and a few other secret ingredients that the bartenders came up with to fire anyone up to go big or go home.

When the group arrived back in Salt Lake from the event fresh snow was awaiting them. Everyone headed out to Powder Mountain where snowkiters have been having fun at the top of the chairlifts. A groups of people headed out to ride the open mountain top with the Utah locals.

Next week the OZ van heads out to Colorado for the Therapy Sessions to test out the new Terrain Park at Lake Dillon.

Don`t forget to make your flight reservations in March for the Ozone Snowkite Masters hosted by Chasta.

Windzup,

Brian & Heather Schenck
