High mountain snowkiting>> How to get an early season Snowkite kick!!

November 18th, still no snow yet on our mountains, except above 3.000 meters high

Gus Hurst www.extremesportphotos.com from Chamonix invited Ozone co-designer Tom Bourdeau and fellow World-class sports photographer, Pascal Boulgakow for a snowkiting session at the Aiguilles du Midi, Chamonix.

The boyz take the incredible cable car to the top station…..its a breathtaking ride alone….let alone when your packing all your snowkite gear knowing that you’ll soon be snowkiting at a spot that will feel on top of the world!

The walk from the cable car is more like a serious mountaineering death wish…Pascal always recommends to pack an extra pair of grots (boxers) for this section…he may be Mr.Extreme photographer …but staring down a cliff face at 3000m still gets to him!!! ;-)

Unfortunately, once at the top the guys discover that the wind is blowing form the west which is a really crap direction for this magical spot. But even with the shitty air the guys still get the kites out and enjoy a spectacular session…..total backcountry ..with no one else around cutting lines so early in the season is always a pleasure…..

The trio will be back to catch this magical spot on the perfect day……for more footage and video action check out Pascals cool website and keep checking back here for regular updates from the Ozone Team as the snow starts to dump….its looking great for this weekend in Europe

Hopefully this gives you the incentive to get out there and discover some new spots for yourselves…enjoy
