Bear Dodging in Spitzbergen 7th - 27th April 07
Extreme Snowkiting (whilst Polar bear Dodging) in the Artic Circle
On the 7th April 2007, an Englishman, an Irishman, an Australian and a Kiwi will walk out of a bar in Spitsbergen and will attempt to kite board & ski across a Polar bear infested wilderness in the Arctic.
The team of 4 extreme adventurers are attempting to kite ski & board across the glacial island of Spitsbergen in the Arctic Circle - the most heavily populated Polar Bear region in the world with over 2500 resident polar bears. Winds and bears permitting the adventure should take 3 weeks. The question is which one won’t make it back!?!
