Chasta in Cardrona

Yep.

Normally, we just need to ride the powder with our kite, quietly on
the flat terrain, or going up some little hills, riding down the
slope, cruising to another side, but… We have to keep in mind that
our kite is a kind of Worldwide Season Pass, bringing us to the top
of all the easy mountains we shall meet. Sometimes, it’s worth it to
pack the kite on the top of the mountain, and ride the slope
downhill, enjoying a perfect freeride run. So, let’s follow Matt
Taggart and Chasta to the Cardrona backcountry in the Southern Island
of New-Zealand.

Just think, you can snowkite the same way this next winter.
