We are pleased to announce that the Mantra M2 has now achieved full DHV 2-3 certification in the medium size - 82 to 102kg. We are very excited with this wing as we really believe the M2 will turn quite a few heads during the next competition and XC season.
Our comparisons with other wings have shown that the M2 is one of the top performing DHV 2-3 gliders. We think it might even be the best performer in the 2-3 class as nothing has out-performed it in our comparisons so far. It even comes close to the performance of the Mantra Research, Ozone’s open class wing.
Better still, not only do we believe that its performance is excellent, we know it is still as comfortable to fly as the original Mantra. The DHV results are not pushing the category like some other DHV 2-3 wings currently available. The M2 is not an open class wing posing as a DHV 2-3… it is a real DHV 2-3 wing with open class performance. We are happy to say that the M2 is still accessible to the majority of pilots who are skilled enough to want to make the most of their XC flying with a high performance wing, without compromising their safety.
