On Sunday November 19th, Daniel Crespo set a new world speed record over a straight 15km course with paramotor trike, averaging 59,53 km/h for the entire flight!

Daniel flew his trike powered by the Airfer VR200 and his Ozone Viper 27. He flew the course twice, and the average speed obtained in both directions (according to his calculations and pending verification) was 59,53 kilometers per hour. Daniel?s goal was to exceed 60 km/h, but he said that he was satisfied with this, his first attempt, and that he will try again soon to break an overall average speed of 60km/h!

Daniel is a member of the Spanish Team of PL1 (paramotor trike) that won the Silver medal during the FAI European Championships held in August in Leon, Spain, and he hopes to represent his country again at the Worlds in China, in September 2007. Congratulations Daniel, from all of us here at Ozone!
