The Dude du Pyla!
Charlie Piccolo has been at the top of the sport for more than a decade, even though he is still very young. A long time resident of the world famous Dune du Pyla, in France, Charlie is the undisputed champion of Wagas and sand dune soaring. No one comes close to matching his skill and feeling when soaring a paraglider inches off of the sand, or diving in for a high speed death spiral complete with tip drag and hand touch. To watch Charlie repeatedly execute highly technical (and highly dangerous) maneuvers time and time again, flawlessly, is to watch someone who has nearly mastered the feeling of flight with a paraglider.
Charlie has a quiver of Ozone wings and depending on the conditions flies either his Mantra, 6907, or Magnum.
Charlie is a highly experienced instructor who teaches equally well in French and English. Because of the amount of airtime that you can rack up at a place like the dune, and because of the amount of ground handling that you can practice, we recommend spending some time with Charlie!
