The Bullet 008 is now in production!

This is an entirely new wing for the 2008 season. After listening to your feedback on the original Bullet, we continued prototyping through last winter and all of this summer, and we have totally revised this year’s wing to answer all of your requests.

New Cousin unsheathed and water tolerant Dyneema lines are used for the main and upper line groups. A lighter, more packable 30gm2 cloth makes it even easier to bunch up your wing at the bottom of the hill, and it packs up smaller for hikes and climbs in the mountains. The new lines and cloth are even more durable than last year’s material: the Bullet 008 is designed to handle many days of snowy use in the mountains!

A new plan-form and line arrangement have completely changed the Bullet 008’s roll and turn characteristics. The sink rate of the Bullet 008 is slightly higher at trim speed, and noticeably higher in the turn, with no climb or acceleration at the turn’s end - ideal for carving big turns close to terrain. The Bullet 008 has highly increased roll stability in all configurations - in the turn and at trim.

If you haven’t tried Speed Flying yet then now is the time! This is truly an amazing sport that anyone who likes snow and flying can enjoy. Skis make it easy to launch and land the smaller sized wings, and the simple handling of the Bullet makes the flying part a breeze.
