The Cult range of kites has the usual high build quality that you expect from Ozone and comes in a variety of funky colour schemes.

We tested the whole range of Cults in all disciplines - static, buggy and land board. It is aimed at the same market as the legendary Samurai and this kite certainly delivers the goods.

The Cult has to be the most stable kite on handles I have ever flown.  Flying is simplicity itself. The kite only needs input on the main lines for steering and only needs the brake to land or for on the spot turning.  The fact that it is not dependent on the brakes for control, made it ideal for the new 4 line control bar.  This pleased Laurent Benamon, as he prefers a bar on the mountain board.

Whizzing around on the massive Le Schott, in every wind known to man, showed these kites have a combination of stability and ease of use. These characteristics give the impression that this range would increase a rider’s learning curve dramatically.  Cults give you the confidence to concentrate on other aspects of flying.  As an entry level kite it excels.

Cults are not just for beginners.  The new swept back wing gives them greater performance than their predecessors. Using them in a buggy or on a board delivers plenty of traction and speed.  The kite progresses to the edge of the window, producing smooth power throughout.  This allows good upwind performance or fast down wind runs.  Having watched Laurent in a 40+ sandstorm on the 1.5m, (watch out camels!!!!!), I could see that, even as an advanced rider, it would be great to include a Cult for those ballistic days or extreme gusty conditions.

The sizes in this range get you going regardless of wind conditions.  We took them out in lumpy thermals and blasting sand with wind speeds ranging from 7mph to 40mph.   The complete range means you would always be able to fly as long as there is some wind, obviously. You can always mix and match  sizes to make the perfect quiver for you.

So in summary – The Cult is the perfect kite for any rider who wants a traction kite for all conditions.
