Access2 Power >> freedom
The Access 2 is designed for back country exploring in the snow, buggy riding and MTB riders who want an entry into the world of depower kiting. The Access 2 is a depower-able open cell kite aimed at people who don’t want to make huge jumps and are after more of a traction pull than an upwards lift.
The original design specification was to make an affordable open celled depower kite so in 2005 the Access was created. Rob Whittall, designer, took all the amazing features of the original Access; stability, huge depower and value for money and added more features in the Access 2. He boosted the number of cells in the kite by 2 per size which means more power per size, the turn is faster and the stability is rock solid in even the gustiest of conditions. The Access 2 boasts the same clamcleat trim and carbon bar system as the Frenzy, giving the user total control of the power at hand.
The Access 2 packs down small and comes with a back pack, perfect for taking everywhere there might be wind and the chance for some exploration by kite. Simply unpack the kite, un roll the lines and you have your own personal ski tow to take you up the mountain or across the beach. Many people are using the kite to quickly access back country routes, being pulled to the top of the mountain, packing up and descending, enjoying the free ride sensation with the kite in a back pack.
With its superb pricing, high quality Ozone material and construction the Access 2 is a kite for all styles and a great tool to have with you at all times. Pro riders and experienced snowkiters should have a 4m Access in their quiver for those ballistic high wind days when freestyle and big jumps are out of the question.
Ride Free, Ride for fun, Ride Safe.
