What an Easter weekend it was for the German Buggy Team!!! Great weather, winds from 5 to 30 knots and trophies for nearly everyone. Fabian Ebbers dominated in the Junior Open Class, Yannick Schwickert - just 18 years old - made it to first position in the Open Senior Class. Björn Krautschick is in top shape again this year. Just after he won the Eurocups 2 weeks ago! he also won every one of the 3 races in the German Master Class, with Dom Zimmermann getting 3rd. What a great result for the guys and it makes us very proud as well. The Yakuza is still the top race kite on the market and we are sure it will offer us some more great results in the future.
Unfortunately our Team Rider Kim Ole Kay had a hard crash on his back in the last race on Monday and had to be sent to hospital were they operated on him during the night. Dom talked to him today and reports he is on the way to getting up and about already. They fixed one of his of broken vertebrae and put in a splint to support another one. Fingers crossed he is back in the buggy soon !!! All the best dude, from the whole Ozone Team.
