In 2006 a new race is set to rock the World. Around 30 teams of 3 will race against each other across Greenland using the Ozone Frenzy to power them the 500km from coast to coast from west to east and then back again. This 1000km race will be the first in history.
Racing teams will pull all their own equipment behind them in sledges through checkpoints and when the wind blows they will obviously be taking advantage of it and be eating up the km`s with the Frenzy.
When there is no wind the teams will resort to human power and cross country ski pulling their sledges behind them. Ozone has partnered with UK based Expedition Challenge Company “Venture Challenge Group” who are organising this ground-breaking race and what will become an annual Greenland Challenge.
On Sunday 19th June there will be a briefing day open to anyone that is interested in this once in a lifetime opportunity.
