Snowkiting in Slovakia

Read below for a report from Pascal Boulgakow that has been on the Freeride Tour with Chasta…

“After a couple of intense snowkiting days in the Czech Republic, we headed to Slovakia, the old mountain part of CZ. No more big and hilly fields, the landscape turns into steep mountainsides with forests. The Pinewoods are crouching under the snow, high mountains offer spots difficult to reach.

We stopped at a ski resort and took a lift to get above the trees. 2 hours hiking was required to get to the spot that is looking like a huge big bowl. The south exposure of it allows a great session, and showed many new options

to the local riders that joined us. Chasta is showing how to fly once again and the locals were blown away with

his smooth style. In the end of the day, they have learnt the basic of this new part of snowkiting, down-looping at the end of the jump to smooth the landing.

This is the end of our trip in the east of Europe,

Cheers Pascal”
