After a mammoth journey heading south we arrived at Essex Kite Park with just enough time to get set up before sundown, Turbo Ted from Trampa was already firing up the bbq and it wasn’t long before we were sinking a few beers with mates old and new, Late in the night Chris Hill arrived so it seemed a good idea to open a few more beers.

Next morning we woke to the sound of “Silence” it was a crisp autumn morning and maybe 2mph of the wind. Not good!! But hey, we were on our jolly’s so out came a cult to shine up the mornings low sunshine.

As people started turning out the new Ozone tent went up, the sound system was fired up and the tunes mellowed across the field. The 08 range was unpacked and displayed for all to come and have a good look and as the wind picked up to around 6pmh (wow) they took to the air. Kites were passed around the park from flyer to flyer, all of whom were flying the new range UNHOOKED, early signs show a lot to be excited about with this seasons depower range.

As the day drew to a close the party moved up to the marquee, we got busy with the sounds and some fine visuals projected into the party. (good Job Mr LX)

Fireworks lit up the cold dark night and folk just kicked back had a good social, (some a little too social).

For all there was practically No Wind, I don’t think anyone can complain,
Was an awesome event hosted by awesome people at an awesome location.

See you all Next year. (but in summer please)
