Hi Everyone
Read on for Manolo’s report from Mexico about his recent long distance buggy epic in Mexico! His country has fantastic land kiting conditions with some killer events planned in 2007. Keep checking back here for updates on dates for his next events. He sure saw 2006 out in style….
Cheers Matt

“I want to share this past Thursday 28 of December of the almost extinct one 2006, various friends we meet in Totolcingo dry lake in the State of Puebla, Mexico .
Finally I managed to travel 147 kms of distance in 4 hours and 50 minutes in effective time of movement. I began before the 2 pm approximately and finish shortly after the 7 pm.
My Maximum Velocity was of 52 kms/h, Velocity Average was of 29.9 kms/h The velocity of the wind was of 25 kms/h at principle, 34 kms/h most of the time and 20 kms/h to the end.
At the start and the final I use SAMURAI 5 mts but changed to a samurai 2 3m for most of the distance, certainly the Samurai2 of OZONE is the best kite ever made for crossing route!
I drank 3 liters of water that carried in my Camel Bag, I ate a Bar PowerBar and Glucose Gel, both of NESTLE. I was exhausted at the end but very happy
Thanks to all the ones that supported the insanity to roll and to roll alone by eating distance.
Great Winds
Manolo
