From 14th - 20th Feb the Snowkite World championship will take place in Obertauern, Austria.

Its a perfect spot right beside the town in a major ski resort that guarantees a huge audience and a perfect promotion to our incredible sport.

The Worlds best riders are already registered, along with the complete Ozone Team obviously including snowkite world champion Chasta.

Last year the organisers had a mini event to get the initial interest for the major sponsors and they put on a great event for us all which Chasta once again won! The competition starts on Tuesday and ends up on Saturday with a boarder cross race and normal freestyle judging with some Austrian style parties and drinking games set to keep the riders rocking through the night

The prize money is confirmed at 20.000 US$, which makes this the biggest prize money pool ever in our sport.
