The Manta II was a bit of an unknown quantity when we released it. Chasta was raving about it and Rob the designer believed in it but he knew it was a very different kite compared to the Manta1 or the Frenzy. As it has turned out the MantaII was accepted immediately, riders loved how it handled and the way it delivered power. It has been a huge success and Chasta thinks he has just scratched the surface of what is possible with the Manta II
Our riders including Chasta and Johan (www.snowkiteair.com) attribute some of the success of their winter to the Manta II. They believe that the handling and performance has enabled them to go where they previously could not which has opened a whole new realm to them. They have been kiting up mountains, multiple peaks in a day then free riding down. Watch their epics below and check our VIDEO GALLERY and see for yourself just how killer this stuff is.
On the freestyle front we are really stoked to see Chasta yet again proving that he can do it all with the Manta II, winning Freestyle and Freeride competitions with a snow specific foil kite. For sure the Manta II is Chasta’s kite developed for him with him in mind and delivered to his liking but that cannot hide the fact that he is time after time no1.
Chasta sent it harder than ever and together with the Manta II he has pushed the frontiers even further opening a wider view for us to discover for ourselves.
It’s up to you but if you haven’t flown one fly one, you’re going to love it. For some the season is coming to an end for others it is the beginning
On land our mt.board team and buggy freestyle team are all on Manta II’s, Butch, AJ, Phat Dan, Appo & Candice to name a few all swear by the Manta II. The de-power king of foils
There is no season anymore, it is all one, you just have to chase it.
