So 2009 was a good year for me with the backing of Ozone I came second in the UK for mens freestyle landboarding, and all the events, competitions and great sessions I had at my local spot really made the year for me.
The kites from Ozone are getting better and better every year, last year i was on the 9m sport+ and well the kiteloops I got out of that kite were outstanding. The 2010 kits look amazing, this year I am on the C4’s and wow they are amazing, quick, powered, stable and great hang time. I have not had many sessions on this kite but the ones I have had so far have been great.
This time of year is always hard to get good sessions because of my local spot being like a bog with all the rain we have had. One session I did enjoy was my first one, even there was hardly any wind I had to try out the new C4 10m, the floor was frozen so I had hardly any grip so I decided to loop the kite off of a 12ft sea wall as I could edge harder, I have to say this was not one of my best ideas as there was not enough wind for the kite to catch me on the landing so I kind of bounced, hope you enjoy the small clip of it.
