Tom Ligonnet News - Spain

Here are a few news items from down south of Spain:

Been out of kiting for about 2 months due to a knee injury, and now I am on a re-education program to make it good for the winter, and to make me feel better. My friend Iain (Spanish distributor) came down to see me with all the new snowkites: AccessXC, FrenzyFX and my future Manta2.

We had a nice photo session with all the Spanish Ozone team on the beautiful beach of Tarifa, which is perfect now for buggying and mountain boarding because of the high tide coef. that has made a 5 km stretch of hard sand. We got some good Tarifa style winds too, a little strong and gusty off-shore, perfect to see how the new kites handle those kind of winds, and from the little I tried them the feeling is really sweet in those winds. Winter is looking even better than last season! :)

Next month Tom’s pick up tour will be demoing all the new snowkites around Andalicia beaches before heading later on to Sierra Nevada where I will explore and try to open new snowkite spots facing the straight of Gibraltar and Africa. I just need more snow this year…
