Hi everyone,
As the European Buggy Championship is held from 8th to the 15th of September in Pembrey, UK, our international dedicated race team took some time for training. Jerome in Holland also took time to get used to his new disc wheels (see news below). The riders do not have to use the thin disc wheels very often as the beaches around Germany, Belguim, Holland and north France are usually dry and soft sand. You only have to use the disc wheels when there is water on the beach where the BigFoots will start to slip (aquaplaning).
Also German Champion ’07, Malte Lutz, and top Belgium Rider Jasper de Swert spent a week training at St. Peter-Ordering Germany. They trimmed their buggies and set up the right line length on their Yakuzas and fought against each other with exactly the same gear.
We wish all the best to our team, we are sure they will not come back without a trophy. Rip it guys!!!
Read on for Maltes words below…
Good luck from all of us at the office

Hey Dom & Matt,
Here you get a short news about a training week in SPO with Jasper for the euros 2007. Jasper and a professional photographer came to me to St. Peter Ording (germany) in august for a big training session on the beach.
We had perfect conditions to ride all Yakuzas in different winds and could trim them perfect. The beach was covered with courses up to 10 marks so we were able to train technical handling in cooperation with top speed sections. By the way Tom – our photographer – could make nice shots from the Yakuzas and our buggys on the beach.
One day later the swiss guy Olli made a stop on his way home from holland on the beach from SPO. So we also went kitesurfing together were the instincts were just perfect accompanists. Check out more pictures on Jaspers site here http://jd-zone.be/spo07/index.html and stay tuned for further news.
Cheers Malte
