On this yearly buggy event in Romo, Danmark many Ozone riders from different countries were present. The first day the Formule 1 races were planned in teams of 2 riders. In this race pilots have to make a pit stop and his teammate has to change wheels. During the qualifcation races the wind was good and Ozone rider Jasper drove the 2nd best time in his heat with the 8.6 Yakuza. At the start of the first race the wind dropped and the biggest kites came out, Jasper became 2nd with his 12m Yakuza. The second race in which the riders switched Ozone rider Jort won the race and Jaspers teammate David was second.

So for the first day Jasper won the race with his teammate David and Jort with his mate Douwe became second, so Ozone on 1&2nd place!

On thuesday there was a lot of rain so the beach became wet and there was no racing. On wednesday the 2×2 races where held, again in  teams of 2 pilots. Pilots had to drive 3hours and change driver every 2 rounds. The teams were very close on each other. Driving with 5 and 6meter Yakuzas. In the first 4 teams only 1 pilot wasn’t flying the Yakuza. German teamrider Malte Lutz won the race with Michi Nast follow by Herman Vandermeulen and Arjen van der Tol On the 3rd place Jasper and his mate David closely followed by Jort and Douwe on the 4th place. Again a good day for Ozone!

On Thursday and Friday the races for the German Championship were held. Here we could only race 2 master runs because to switching winds and some rain. Ozone Teamrider Malte won both followed by Jerome as 3rd and Arjen as 4th, both with Ozone Yakuza.

In the german championship over the year both, the 1st and 2nd place, went to Ozone. Malte Lutz could get 1st, followed by Pascal. After the week the pilot with the best overall results is awarded with the “Buggycamp wanderpokal” This cup went for the first time to a Belgian rider, our teamrider Jasper De Swert.
