The North American Buggy Expo

This year’s North American Buggy Expo brought together some of the world’s greatest kiting talent. The Ozone team arrived in force with myself, Brian and Heather Schenck of Windzup, Eli Anderson, Adam Caudill, and Dave Sabilino in attendance. Ground Industries was also on the scene with sweet boards for everyone to ride.

I arrived halfway through the weeklong event to near 100 degree temperatures and three days of no wind. But everything changed on Saturday. The wind cranked to a gusty 20-30, which brought high-speed buggying with tiny kites. In the late afternoon the wind lightened and smoothed perfectly for landboarding. For the bold among us, MBS brought out an enormous ramp and a grind rail. The jumps were almost as spectacular as the crashes.

The good wind held on Sunday and we managed to get in some nice riding and a photo shoot.
