We’ve been on ‘The Search’ now for sometime, looking to expand our landbased kiting options and horizons. Taking our inspiration from Chasta, and leaving the flat of the UK’s beaches and fields behind.
We’ve taken to the hills, learning more about the wind and its interaction with natural features every session.
The learning curve is as steep as the slopes of the ancient 2000yr old hill fort, we are currently riding. The fort lies 700 feet above its surroundings and with the Manta 10 and 12 as weapons of choice our progression and confidence is building at a rate of knots. We are hitting terrain that we never thought possible with a KGB, buggy and kite.
We aren’t at Chastas masterful level jus yet, (that grounds pretty hard sometimes), but we’re fully armoured and padded up and pushing the limits of land kiting further and further, and every session the gap between earth and air is steadily widening..
Keep an eye out for our progress in the Kite press coming soon.
