Lady's Mile Salt Flat, Cyprus

Ozone Team Rider Butch reports from his trip to Cyprus. Read below:

“I had been invited to fly out to Southern Cyprus, to explore a massive pan of salty scarred earth earmarked for a land based kiting test centre in conjunction with Paracademy and Surf Cyprus , the islands only windsurf and kite surf school owned by UK brothers Craig and Mark Spence. The discovery of the Lady?s Mile site and the partnership with Paracademy has encouraged the brothers to branch out into the hardcore world of land kiting, and with the consistent daily westerly winds throughout the summer, and easterlies thru the winter, the potential for this brand new kiting location is immense.

Lady?s Mile Beach is an east facing stretch of Mediterranean coastline, situated on the south coast of Cyprus 30 minutes drive from Limmasol and 25 minutes from our base at Pissouri. and largely consists of a 3 sq mile salt lake, devoid of any obstacles or hazards. We had an awesome time! Full writeup coming soon in PK mag. Cheers Butch “
