Peter Foulkes >> Blue Balls Buggy Bash

This news piece has not yet been translated but will be soon, thank you for your patience.

Another epic weekend was had at the 17th Blue Balls Buggy Bash in New Zealand, with some insane racing. Full credit to the radar gun operators for having balls of steel by holding true while 100kg+ lumps of flesh and steel hurtled towards them over the 400m track to the speed gate competition.

Conrad gets first at 54 km/hr with his 8m Manta in the new Meteor GT buggy from Kitezone. I got second in my carbon buggy with a 4.5m Yakuza GT at 54 km/hr as well.

Dan on his doom wheels and David on his land board were floating in the sky like there was something wrong with the sand with their Frenzy and Manta depower kites.

In the main event, the one hour race, I lapped everyone to take the win and now have the oldest kite buggy trophy in the world using my carbon buggy and 4.5m Yakuza GT. Wayne Carkeek pips a Vapor flown by Perrin at the line to take second, with his XX GTR buggy and 5m Method! Perrin third, with Al Noblet in fourth with his mooselander buggy.

Saturday night flying in the dunes was amusing as usual, I used my Meteor GT buggy with the 6.5m Method on Turbo bar, which was simply perfect.
