We’ve received loads of emails recently asking us how to self launch the Instinct. Check out this video of David launching the Instinct unassisted.
The important point is that it can not be done on a rocky beach or a launch zone with sharp objects. Your kite could be damaged as it rolls back onto its tip and launches.
This a great technique and once learnt you figure out the correct angle to start the launch sequence that minimizes the kites movement on the ground.
Also make sure you double check that your lines are completely clear without any tangles or line -over’s before committing to the launch
We advise you to test this in light winds and with loads of space to start with
