next.. Fuerteventura again? I had a good time down there, and the wind seemed good and it is not that busy in this time of year.. Let’s go, as soon as possible.
I flew on the 31st of December, and my landing was planned in the evening, and I had 2 hours delayed, but it was oke, I wasn’t in Holland anymore and the weather was good!
The next day we went immediately to the kitebeach, near the Rene Egli hotel on the beach where the pkra was this summer. Rene Egli got a kite/windsurf centre on the beach where you can leave your gear and with a school for taking lessons. When I came there the people immediately recognized me so I didn’t had to pay for anything the whole week 
Good to be a PKRA rider hehe.
My idea about being on Fuerteventura was training and relaxing, and I had some really intensive training almost every day. Some points for training to me where: 100% handlepassing in 2 directions, and more combination trix like mobe 5 and 7, kiteloop-handlepasses etc. and I preferred to land those tricks on flat and choppy water, to be prepared for everything in a competition..
I can say that it worked, in a combination of accommodation, mentality, and some pressure for competitions. i rode the most with my eleven instinct, and had great, unexpected fun with it, also with dune-jumping! When the other riders where beginning to ride with 14m2 I was already tricking and training with my eleven, with a lot of power from within the kite!
Now, I’m getting to pick up me life here again, Raymond just called me while I was just awake around 2 o’clock midday.. it’s cold and windy here, and school is beginning tomorrow again.. Where is my winter wetsuit?
