Christian Nerdrum recently took Sigve Botnen along to Denmark for a photo shoot for a Danish Tourist magazine

“As the masses from the ice age pulled back thousands of years ago, Norway, Sigves home in the mountains of Telemark were revealed.

The ice-masses kept sliding south and ended up piling a land of sand and dirt which is now known as Denmark, the bits dragged away from Norway!

Years later, the Norwegians now tend to have the urge to head back “home” to Denmark.

Its flattened brother-country with stable winds and long beaches perfect for kiting!

That was exactly what we were looking for when I was invited to Denmark by “visit Denmark” to have fun, take pictures and write about the incredible beauty of DK

Even though the wind was not too eager to play ball this weekend, the Instinct 13 proved to be a powerful freestyle machine in light winds.

The west coast of Denmark usually roars at this time of year, but now all we had were light south easterly winds! Not to bad considering the balmy 30 degree temps and the extended summer days.

In Agger, close to Krik, there are many birds, but also a huge saltwater lake that makes a great alternative to the ocean, and the waves on the outside…

As you can see from the pictures we had a great time and enjoyed the different areas to play
