Kari Schibevaag >> Norwegian championships, 1st in waves and freestyle
Esta noticia todavía no está traducida, pero pronto lo estará. Gracias por tu paciencia. This weekend we had the Norwegian championship in Stavanger where I am from. The disciplines were waves, freestyle and a down wind. There were a lot of people coming from all over Norway and it was a nice event. Even Frank From Underground and Ozone came from Germany and got some good days in the Norwegians waves
I signed up for waves, freestyle and downwind. There was a nice swell with strong wind. It was just a bit cold and rainy, but when you are a real Viking this doesn’t stop you
We had waves on Friday and I was out with the 4m and 6m Catalyst powered up. It was fun riding and I won the waves. It was also nice to see Sigve and Christian ripping the waves out there with their Ozone C4 kites. They were riding good and I enjoyed watching them from the beach.
Saturday was the day for freestyle and we went to a spot with flat water. It was strong wind and I was out with my 5m C4 good powered. It was nice conditions but cold. I won the freestyle and I am happy about this. Sigve was out with the 7m C4 and had a bit to much in the quarterfinals. He had to go to the looser finals but did good again, placing 3rd in the end but I have to say I love his style and power when he is riding. Good job Sigve.
On Sunday the wind dropped and it was not possible to do the down wind. That’s why there is no result here J
