 After a long night in the bus together with all the riders, we ended up in Parnaiba, Piaui. It was a strange feeling coming out of the bus. I thought it was going to be a town or a small city, but there was nothing. There were some houses (but no people) and a hotel. Plenty of donkeys though… We were planning to find a cheap hotel when we got here, but that was not so easy. Hege Holt and I managed to get a room in the hotel, but only fore 2 nights. After that we had to stay in a house together with all the people from Cabarete (who are not so quiet), and a big speaker in the neighbour house. My bed was shaking and a good night sleep was not easy. Impossible actually. Just imagine trying to sleep in the middle of the biggest and loudest house party imaginable. Puffy eyes in the morning…

Parnaiba also have jellyfish and of course I was in the middle of them all the time, and of course I was also allergic to them. I got fever, scars on my body and I passed out. I think I was more with the doctors  in the end than on the water. But it’s ok when you have people taking good care of you. Lucky I was here with the PKRA.

So it’s not too much to do here. There’s a hotel and a beach to kite on. There were 12 girls and 34 men how signed in. Now I just have to hope for a good drawing in the first round. That did not happen. After all the heats I ended up 7th place. And I am happy about that. Brasil is a hard competition with a lot of good people. I lost against Langeree, but I was happy to do all my moves in super strong wind. I was on my 5m, totally over powered. But it was fun in the end to see a new place and meet all the jellyfish.

Now it’s the last stop of the PKRA in Chile. I hope it will be nice and not too cold.
