Adam Koch and Riccardo Leccese - 1 & 2 in the Europeans Championship 2012
Ozone team mate Adam Koch won the Europeans Championship in La Baule, France, and Riccardo Leccese (Ozone) was crowned European Kite Race Champion 2012, followed by Julien Kerneur in 3rd Place.
A total of 72 racers (21 woman) were registered for this event. Men were split in two fleets and Women in another fleet.
Four races for each fleet were completed during the first day of the event and only one more race on the second. The super light wind conditions and shifty winds didn’t help at all, as the marks had to be moved several times.
I could not do any better than 9th as I was feeling pretty sick and I was finally taken to hospital after day 2 due to some Health problems. Unfortunately I’m also missing the Worlds running right now in Cagliari, Italy. But Ozone fully dominates the event, with Erika Heineken (Ozone/USA) leading the women’s ranking with all bullets and Johnny, Adam and Rikki also leading in the Men’s Ranking!
