Kari News - Brazil Training weeks
I am now in Brazil for the 4th the time. And it’s nice to be back. It’s like my 2nd home now. I will stay in Cumbuco until the PKRA is starting in Parnaiba (7-8 hours north from Cumbuco by car).
I am staying at Thomas place like last year. Nice room, good breakfast, nice people, closed to the beach, what more can I wish for. There is also an animal coming nearly every night. I am a bit afraid of this. It looks like a rat, but it’s bigger, and it’s not a cat. It has pink nose and a big tail. I will try to take a picture, but every time it’s coming I am busy screaming and running around hiding. So I have not been lucky getting the picture jet. Gina and Thomas are making fun of me and playing around like this animal. They tell me it’s not dangerous, but why is Gina on the table when it’s coming…?? I don’t know.
Oh well Cumbuco is known for good wind and I hope that the good wind is here so I can kite everyday. These first days has been really good. It feels like my arms are 2 m longer, and that’s a good sign. Me and my good friend Gina (who I am visiting here in Cumbuco) has been doing downwind in the waves in Cumbuco, been in the lagoon and been to Paracuru. All has been perfect, no people and super good wind fore my 7 m ozone. Bikini and board short it’s nice, I can tell you. What a perfect life.
Ida Nearby and a friend of here are coming down 5th of September and then my new 7m Ozone light kite is coming. I have been waiting a long time to try this kite. I have a good feeling that this is a kite for me. Ida hurry up.
I will write about the kite when it’s coming. I can’t wait
